Day 1: ARRIVAL AT GUWAHATI AIRPORT – TEZPUR / BHALUKPONG (183Km/4Hrs)
Welcome on arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway station. Transfer to Tezpur / Bhalukpong. Check in Hotel. Overnight at Tezpur / Bhalukpong.
Day 2: TEZPUR – DIRANG (192Km/5 Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Dirang. Enroute visit Tippi Orchid Centre, Hot Water Spring. Check in Hotel. Evening at Leisure. Overnight at Dirang.
Day 3: DIRANG – TAWANG (134 Km/4 Hrs)
Morning drive to Tawang. Enroute witnesses the snow-capped Sella Pass at 14000 ft. and the Jaswant Garh War Memorial. (Legend has it that Jaswant Mahavir Chakra Awardee (Posthumous) of 4th Batallion Garhwal Rifles), fought a lone battle against the invading Chinese during the 1962 war. His spirit is still believed to protect the place).Later visit Jung Falls. Overnight in Tawang.
Day 4: TAWANG
Tawang - The beautiful land of the Monpa tribes with the “GOLDEN NAMGYEL LHATSE” Monastery - one of the largest Lamaseries of Mahayana sects in Asia. The birth place of the 6th Dalai Lama, the Monastery is 400 year old and is adorned with the 18 feet high statue of Lord Buddha. ‘The Land of Dawn-lit Mountains’ at 3500 mts. gives you unparalleled purity of nature. Visit the monastery and the War Memorial. Evening free for shopping. Overnight in Tawang.
Day 5: TAWANG
After breakfast proceed for an excursion to Sangestar Lake, Bum La Pass and China Border (subject to permission from Indian Army).
The Sangestar Lake, or more popularly known as the Madhuri Lake, is about 20 kms from Tawang, en route to the road leading to Bum La Pass. The Bum La Pass is one of the four officially agreed BPM (Border Personnel Meeting) point between Sendeen Indian Army and People's Liberation Army of China for regular consultations and interactions between the two armies, which helps in defusing face-offs. Overnight in Tawang.
Note: Visit to Bumla Pass is subject to weather conditions & subjected to the issuance of permit and will be on Guest own cost and arrangement.
Day 6: TAWANG – DIRANG (134 Km/4 Hrs)
Early morning after breakfast drive to Dirang. Check in Hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight in Dirang.
Day 7: DIRANG-BOMDILLA – GUWAHATI (372 Km/8 Hrs)
Early morning breakfast drive to Bomdila- the headquarter of west Kameng District of Arunachal Pradesh and known for its Buddhist monasteries. It has a lot of attractions for the visitors for its cool climate. Later proceed to Guwahati. Check in Hotel. Overnight in Guwahati.
Day 8: GUWAHATI AIRPORT
Early morning time free for Kamakhya Darshan (guest own cost and arrangement. Followed by transfer to Guwahati airport (2 hours before flight departure) for return journey.
