Health Advisory for passengers travelling to ladakh: -

• Take complete rest for first day of your arrival at Leh.
• Your body should get used to the lower oxygen levels.
• If you have a blood pressure problem, do consult your doctor before planning the trip.
• Rescue and precaution for mountaineering & trekking in Ladakh Tourist undertaking mountaineering & trekking in Ladakh should take some precautions. There is no private aerial rescue agency in Ladakh & only as a life saving measure; engaging the Indian Air Force help in evacuation.
• Ladakh is a high altitude cold desert with a low level of atmospheric oxygen. It is, therefore, absolutely necessary that visitors reaching Leh by air should spend sufficient time for acclimatization before engaging in any physical activity. The rarefied atmosphere may cause high altitude ailments like Acute Mountain Sickness, necessitating instant evacuation of visitors who are unable to get acclimatized.
• Anyone travelling to altitudes above 10,000 ft. (2,700 m) is liable to suffer from acute mountain sickness (AMS) unless properly acclimatized. The most common symptoms of acute mountain sickness are headache, disturbed sleep and loss of appetite, nausea, coughing, irregular breathing, breathlessness, lassitude and lack of concentration. If you are reaching Leh by air, it is important to take complete rest for the first 24 hours after arrival. Any kind of physical exertion is to be avoided. Smoking and drinking should also be avoided till you are fully acclimatized. Your body should get used to the lower oxygen level of Ladakh after 2 or 3 days if you have taken complete rest for the first 24 hours and as much rest as possible during the next 12 hours.
• High Altitude Pulmonary Oedema (HAPO) and High Altitude Cerebral Oedema (HACO) are very serious forms of acute mountain sickness & require immediate medical attention. As a preventive measure, Tab #Diamox 250 mg should be taken at the rate of 1 tablet twice a day for 3 days, at least 2 days before coming to Ladakh or any high altitude places.[Consult your Family Doctor before taking any medicines as mentioned here]
• Maintain proper hydration levels in your body. Drink water frequently. You can also mix it with electrolytes and glucose for the extra energy.
• Avoid over-exertion.
• Ascend slowly.
• Avoid anti-depressants and alcohol.
• Stay at bay from overeating.
• Do not spend too much time at high altitude pass.

Important Instructions:-

• Last but not the least; the following important points should be followed in order to avoid any sort of inconvenience during the tour:

Please ensure that you carry Govt issued photo identity proof- driving license, Aadhar card, Pan Card etc.

• The weather is unpredictable: it’s usually windy and can go from pleasant to chilly very quickly. Wear layers instead of bulky warmers to stay comfortable at all times.
• Remember to take spare batteries for your camera, as the altitude and cold will drain them out quicker.
• When travelling around Leh, it’s best to avoid alcohol; drink water instead. Breathing in dry air drains the moisture from the lungs, so make sure you consume at least 4–5 litres to stay hydrated.
• Do collect a hotel address card, which will have the hotel address in local language which will be of great help to you in case you get lost.
• Take care of your own baggage while check-in and check-out at the airport and hotel. When traveling by coach ensure that you have seen your luggage going into the baggage hold of the coach.
• Carry enough money for per day expenses.
• It is advisable to leave tips/gratuities for restaurant staff, coach drivers and Guides as this is a custom prevalent in this part of the region. We request you to kindly pack your heavy luggage as well as settle your extra`s if any with the hotel the night prior to departure as this will facilitate easy check out.
• Take care of the hotel property to avoid penalty, which is very harsh. When using the Hotel services and room amenities please keep in mind that the Beverages that you use from the mini bar; telephone calls and laundry and any other expenses of personal nature are extras and to be paid by you. Any damage of hotel property will be directly paid to hotel by client itself (No involvement of Tripozo or its partner).
• Due to high traffic and heavy rush of tourists in whole LADAKH region the sightseeing visit may be affected.
• Nubra Camps & Pangong hotel /camps receive limited electricity and generators are not encouraged due to environmental compliance and restricted by state government. You are advised to charge your mobile phones in mean time and cooperate.
• All tents are Swiss tented room with attached bathroom with deluxe category with standard size.
• Electricity available in Pangong 7-11 PM (Whole Pangong region).
• Solar heat Hot water in morning for only freshen up (not for bath) is available (being remote area).
• No room electric kettle and tea and coffee bags in Leh, Nubra & Pangong.
• No pre-paid connections will work; only post-paid connections of Airtel, Jio & BSNL will work that too with low connectivity (no connections in most of the part of journey).
• Wifi is only available in Leh (In Nubra it work sometime with limited connection being a remote location). No wifi and Telephone network in Pangong.
• In Pangong, room amenities not available as no kettle, tea & coffee maker, laundry, wifi, Almirah, no packaged drinks, hair dryer, safety box being a remote location. Only Soap, only 1/ or two towel available.
• No ATM, Bank, Fuel station available in Pangong Lake Region.
• Please note that camp stays at Nubra & Pangong which are a beautiful and different kind of experience but with limited excess of electricity, water & variety of food due to very remote locations and less accessibility to the area. Enjoy beautiful surroundings of the place.
• Also make sure to carry necessary medicines with you (for those who get suffered from Nausea and headache in mountain areas which are common in the long routes of Leh due to low oxygen).
• Local Tour Guide will assist the group from Day 2 to day 6.

Terms & Conditions:

• You should carry an Identity Card (Voter Card/Driving License/Pan Card/Passport or any Govt. I. Card), while traveling; this is for verification when needed.
• It is mandatory to carry the age proof of children (05 to 11 yrs.). Child above than 11 yrs. shall be considered for an adult cost.
• In case any of the sightseeing spot mentioned as above remains closed due to local reason, Tripozo or its partner representative will arrange for alternative sightseeing spot as per availability and time permissibility. All guests are requested to cooperate in this regard.
• Service vouchers for the tour will be forwarded in your respective email ids 02 days before the departure or guests can collect the same from Tripozo or its partner, Zonal Office, and Kolkata.
• Alternate Arrangements will be made disruption of tour on account of natural calamities and the cost to be borne by the tourist.
• Arrangements will be made for medical attention during sickness while on tour and the cost will borne by the tourist.
• The tourist will have to go by the periodical guidelines issued by the Tripozo or its partner authorities on the tour, through announcements and should not intervene in their working.
• The tour programmer is subject to approval/alteration by the Railway authorities and the conduct of the tour is dependent on scheduled running of the train.
• The decision of Tripozo or its partner/EZ will be final on account of problems arising in the conduct of the tour.
• Tripozo or its partner has right to alter itinerary under unavoidable circumstances and is not liable for any type of natural calamities/ strikes/ cancellations/ delay of train/insurgency of any such nature which is beyond control during the tour period. Management is not accountable for any theft or damage of luggage during the trip.
• Operation of Trip is subject to minimum no. of passengers booked.
• Accepting the changed arrangements or Cancelling or accepting the cancellation where you will receive a refund of the payment remitted to us. However, there will be no refund for any service such as pre / post accommodation, airline tickets, excursions, extensions etc. that have been booked by you and / or your Travel Agent.
• Changes and Cancellation by Tripozo or its partner prior to your departure: The journeys are planned well in advance.
• We reserve the right to make changes to the programme if necessary at any point of time. Should the minimum number of passengers not be met or due to certain operational reasons and conditions, we reserve the right to cancel the departure or amend the same. Most changes made by us would be minor, but on certain occasions there could be a possibility of making a significant change. A change is defined as significant if it involves a change of destination or date of departure. In such an eventuality, we would inform you as soon as possible and provide you with the following solutions:
• The guests are requested to take care of their personal belongings carefully and avoid leaving them unattended.
• Any Itinerary posted on the website is only a proposed holiday outline. In case there is any change in price the same will be communicated to you and only after your confirmation, we will proceed further
• There will be no refund for un-utilized services.
• The package Price is subject to change without prior notice
• Above tour prices are subject to change in the event of increase in hotel room rates levy by the hotel especially during peak season / holiday surcharge and major events/ fairs and convention.
• Passenger should call any queries about the tour from Tripozo or its partner before/after the booking to avoid any confusion.
• Tripozo or its partner is not liable for personnel expenses, boating, porter age, theft, accidents etc..
• Any other terms and conditions applied as may be decided by Tripozo or its partner at any point of time.
• The request for name change will be treated as a fresh booking where confirmation will be subject to availability. Please note all bookings confirmed are non-transferable and will invite a cancellation charge as applicable

 

Force - Majeure

Force majeure' means any event which we / the supplier of the service(s) in question / the Third Party Supplier could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include disruptions/diversions of rail services, floods, earthquakes, whether actual or threatened war, riot, civil strife, actual or threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, disease, fire and all similar events outside the control of the party concerned.

We cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our obligations under our agreement with you is prevented or affected by, or you otherwise suffer any damage or loss as a result of, 'force majeure'.

 

Conditions of Travel

• Guest has to strictly follow the tour program. Under no circumstances would any refund be given for any unutilized services.

 

Payments and Confirmation:

·  On completion of the booking and payment formalities, a confirmation tour voucher will be generated.

· You will have to pay all bank charges.

· The Tripozo or its partner reserves the right to decline your booking for any Tour or to cancel your booking without assigning any reason.

 

Hotels:

·    Room categories in all packages are the base category rooms unless stated otherwise.

·    Final confirmation in the proposed hotels is subject to the availability at the time of booking, else similar category hotel will be provided.

·   The request for an adjacent or an adjoining room will be on subject to availability only and will incur extra charges if adjoining room is of higher category.

·   Room allocation (Twin bed / Double bed) is at the discretion of the hotel. The check in and checkout time of the hotel is fixed as per Hotel Guidelines. Numbers of meals are always corresponding to the number of nights booked. Breakfast is not provided on the day of arrival.

·   In hotels for an extra Adult / Child either Rollaway bed or mattress shall be provided

·    Payments pertaining to early check- in, late check-out, items consumed in Room Mini bar and any extra services of hotel other than mentioned in the package are to be settled at hotel directly by the guest.

·   Hotel has the right to claim the damages incurred by any of the guest.

·   Three person of one family on one booking will be accommodated in one double room with an extra Mattress.

·   Child will be accommodated in one room with the parents only.

 

Transfers and Sightseeing:

• Arrival / departure transfers & sightseeing tours shall be provided as per schedule fixed by the Tripozo or its partner. However this may require you to wait at the airport/destination for short duration until arrival of all the guests.
• Vehicle is not on personal disposal basis and will be provided as per the schedule of the itinerary.

a) The request for name change will be treated as a fresh booking where confirmation will be subject to availability. Please note all bookings confirmed are non-transferable and will invite a cancellation charge as applicable.

b) Changes and Cancellation by Tripozo or its partner prior to your departure - The journeys are planned well in advance. 1. Or accepting the cancellation where you will receive a refund of the payment remitted to us. However, there will be no refund for any service such as pre/post accommodation, airline tickets, excursions, and extensions etc. that have been booked by you and/or your Travel Agent. 
c) In case of a 'force majeure' situation due to which a departure has to be cancelled, we regret there would be no refund of the money paid to us or reimbursement of any additional expenses incurred by you as a result of our cancellation/ change. 

100% payment at the time of booking will be required.

• On completion of the booking and payment formalities, a confirmation tour voucher will be generated.
• You will have to pay all bank charges.

SURCHARGES:
The prices shown are based on known costs and airfare at the time of tour launching the tour and Tripozo or its partner does not expect to have to make any changes. In case of unforeseen increase in national or local taxation or factors beyond control, Tripozo or its partner reserves the right to impose a surcharge or revise the tour cost.
