Detailed Itinerary: ‘Queen of Hills’ – Darjeeling & Gangtok Rail Tour Package ex Rajendranagar Terminal
Day 01 (Fri): Rajendranagar to Siliguri
Board the train 13246 at 2315hrs from Rajendranagar Terminal. Overnight journey by train.
Day 02 (Sat): NJP Rly Stn – Darjeeling (About 90 kms / 3 hrs)
Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP & transfer to Darjeeling, is one of the most magnificent Hill Resorts in the World. On arrival check-in to your hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Darjeeling
Day 03 (Sun): Darjeeling (Local sight seeing)
Early Morning (at 4.00 am) drive to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzonga (28,208 ft. worlds third highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), and Japanese Temple. Evening free (walking tour of mall -suggested). Overnight at Darjeeling.
Day 04 (Mon): Darjeeling to Gangtok & sightseeing
After Breakfast proceed for picturesque drive to Gangtok- “The Capital City of Sikkim”. On arrival check-in to your hotel. After lunch proceed for a city tour visit Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, Flower Exhibition centre. Overnight at Gangtok.
Day 05 (Tue): Gangtok (Trip to Tsomgo Lake)
Start for a half day trip of Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial (13200 ft) 52 kms from Gangtok city. Over night at Gangtok.
Day 06 (Wed): Gangtok – SGUJ Rly Stn (About 125 kms / 4 hrs)
Morning free for packing & personal activities. Check out from hotel in time and take the departure transfer to Siliguri (SGUJ) Railway station for your onward journey by 13247 at 1525hrs. Overnight journey by train.
Day 07 (Thru): Rajendranagar Terminal
Arrival Rajendranagar Terminal at 0440 hrs and tour ends with happy memories.
