TOUR PACKAGE ITINERARY
Day-1:
Arrive in Almaty. Transfer to Hotel
Arrive at Almaty International Airport. After clearing immigration & customs, our local representative will meet and transfer you to your hotel in Almaty. The mountainous city of Almaty is Kazakhstan's financial and cultural capital. Almaty is a garden city in the foothills of the Trans-Ili Alatau mountains covered with evergreen coniferous forest. No wonder Almaty conquers the hearts of travelers at their first glance. This city is surprising with its scale - huge majestic modern buildings, endless green alleys and avenues-all surrounded by snow-covered mountain peaks.
Day-2:
Enjoy Almaty City Tour. Evening Visit Kok Tobe Hill
Explore the city of Almaty as you visit the First Park, Republic square, State Opera and Ballet Theatre, museums at the Academy of Sciences, Abai Square, Kazakhstan Hotel and Palace of the Republic.
Zenkov Cathedral: It is one of the most beautiful, magnificent and unique architectural monuments of the city of Almaty with the height of 56 meters in the Panfilov Park of Almaty. Legend goes that it was built without a single nail.
Kok Tobe Hill: Kok Tobe is the highest point in the city of Almaty standing on a 1100 m hill at the south-east edge of the city. One can have a panoramic view of the city from all directions. To reach Kok Tobe hill, a cable car is to be taken which goes over some of the oldest parts of Almaty and the magnificent orchards. Once you reach the Kok Tobe hill, you would see the famous 372 m high TV Tower which is visible from far and offers great views of the mountains and the city besides many attractions at the top including restaurants serving cuisines from across the globe.
Day-3:
Check-Out & Transfer to Black Canyon | Kolsay Lake | Overnight Stay in Kolsay.
Enjoy breakfast at hotel & check-out for excursion to Black Canyon & Kolsay Lake.
Known as the “Pearl of the Tien Shan,” the Kolsai Lakes are situated about 300 km from Almaty, nestled in the Kungei-Alatau mountain range, often referred to as “Kazakh Switzerland.” This stunning destination features three breathtaking mountain lakes, each surrounded by dramatic slopes and forming a cascade. The lower Kolsai Lake lies at 1,800 meters above sea level, the middle lake at 2,250 meters, and the highest at 2,800 meters, creating a mesmerizing natural staircase of pristine beauty.
Day-4:
Excursion to Kaindy Lake & Charyn Canyon | Transfer to Almaty.
Breakfast at hotel and check out. Put luggage in cloak room. Depart from your hotel for day trip to Kaindy Lake.
The adventurous trip to the lake will be a 4x4 ride followed by a horse ride. Visit Kaindy Lake, famous for its submerged forest and turquoise waters, offering a unique landscape for exploration. Proceed to Charyn Canyon, often referred to as the Grand Canyon of Asia, and explore its dramatic rock formations. Enjoy the seven canyons in the valley and the Charyn River.
Return to Almaty for an overnight stay where you can unwind and reflect on the adventures of the day.
Day-5:
Trip to Kolsay, Shymbulak
Enjoy breakfast at hotel. In just an hour, you can get from Almaty city center to its highest point (3200 meters) and drink coffee in the highest bar in the CIS using 3 tier world-class Gondola. On Shymbulak, you can have a great time skiing or snowboarding.
Those who do not wish to participate in the snow sports may marvel at the snow clad mountains and the uncorrupted beauty of the terrain. An all-day entertainment for the whole family is provided by cafes and restaurants with excellent cuisine, an observation deck with powerful binoculars that rotate 360 degrees and a playground. For those who love the mountain silence and admire the snowy slopes, this could be your dream come true!.
The resort also offers high-class hotels and various kinds of adventure activities such as Zip Lining, Paragliding, Horse riding etc.
Later in the evening, proceed for Panfilov & Arbat Walking Tour.
Enjoy evening walk around Panfilov promenade. The promenade which overlooks the Kazakh Opera & Ballet theatre is lined with small shops, eateries, and cafes & beautiful lights. Enjoy local song and music on local musical instruments. The tour will end on Arbat Street with lots of shopping outlets and street entertainment.
Day-6: Transfer to airport
Transfer to Almaty International Airport for the return flight.
