Amarnath cave is a Hindu shrine located in Jammu and Kashmir, India. The cave is situated at an altitude of 3,888 m (12,756 ft), about 141 km (88 mi) from Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir and reached through Pahalgam town. The shrine forms an important part of Hinduism and is considered to be one of the holiest shrines in Hinduism. The cave is surrounded by snowy mountains. The cave itself is covered with snow most of the year except for a short period of time in summer when it is open for pilgrims. Hundreds of thousands of Hindu devotees make an annual pilgrimage to the Amarnath cave across challenging mountainous terrain

IRCTC will not be held responsible for any mishap/accident/injury/death/ Natural disaster, rites, curfew, landslide, terrorism during the course of the tour.
Force Majeure or Acts of God: -During any Package period, unforeseen events can take place, these events may include but may not be limited to the following terrorism, civil unrest, rioting, war, natural disaster, typhoons, floods, landslide, political crisis, curfew. These acts among others are referred in travel industry as FORCE MAJEURE, a French term meaning “Unforeseeable Circumstances that prevent someone from fulfilling a contract. “No Cancellation or any refund will be made at any cost in case of bad weather, land-slide, any other natural disaster, political/national crisis, curfew, terrorism due to which the customer could not reach the destination/ airport/ railway station/ bus stand, which is beyond the control of the Agent/Hotel. It will be entirely at the risk and cost of the customer. All customers have to manage their stay, transport, Air, train & Bus fares and any further expenses at their own cost.
In case of booking cancellation, only our cancellation policy will be applicable.
Price excludes personal expenses like laundry, telephone, tips, Mineral Water bottles, room services, ponies, palkies charges, monuments charges, personal expenses etc.
Meals in the Package can only be availed in the provided hotels,
Meals while traveling is not included in the package and shall be paid by the customer.
Entrance fees, if any, at any point shall be paid by customers.
Rates are subject to change (without a prior notice) in case of a major fuel hike or hike in Government. taxes etc.
Due to bad weather or technical reason if the schedule flight is cancelled / delay, Sonmarg / Srinagar hotel/houseboat will consider No-Show for that day without any refund {In case client is not able to reach at their pre-booked hotel/ destination}. Next day’s accommodation has to be taken care by the guest directly.
In case of cancellation of the scheduled flight due to bad weather/Force Majeure/technical reasons, advance booked passengers could get the priority next day or aviation service can cancel the tickets and put the cancellation refund stamp on your tickets {the entire decision will be as per the aviation management, current situations and previous rush – No travel agent can interfere their decision}.
IRCTC shall not be responsible for no-show of passenger(s) at next destination due to cancellation of helicopter services due to backload, delay boarding, technical reasons & also shall not be responsible if passenger(s) gets stuck at Holy Cave, Panchtarani etc. and do not turn up at the next destination.
Yatris travelling by helicopters to Panchtarni shall not be required to secure Yatra Permits but such Yatris will be required to produce Compulsory Health Certificates, duly issued by Authorized Doctors/ Institutes at the time of boarding the helicopter at Neelgrath/ Pahalgam. No Yatri shall be allowed to board the helicopter without first submitting the CHC {Compulsory Medical Certificate}.
Children below 13 year in age, elderly persons above the age of 70 years and Ladies who are more than 6 weeks pregnant shall not be permitted to undertake the pilgrimage.
Passengers are requested to report at the departure helipad one hour before the notified departure time of the flight or at Reporting Time mentioned in the PTD. Passengers reporting beyond these timings shall be treated as “NO SHOW” passengers {without any refund} and the Operator reserves the right to allot the seat to other passengers. For Panchtarni to Neelgrath sector, passengers will be boarded on a First Come First Serve Basis subject to availability of seats.
In case of bad weather or any technical reason if the flight is cancelled at Amarnath Or Vaishnodevi Sector then actual tickets cost of helicopter tickets will be refunded from helicopter services. Transaction charges & taxes will not be refunded.
Compulsory Photo identity proof has to be produced on Check-in (Passport, Voter Id, Pan Card, driving licensee, Aadhar Card, and any other govt. approved ID etc.)
No replacement in accommodation is allowed during the stay. If guest(s)/passenger(s) get(s) stuck at Sonamarg / Panchtarani and want(s) their stay at Sonmarg only instead of Srinagar for the same day, they have made own arrangements at own cost only. Srinagar stay will consider No-Show without any refund. On the spot changes / amendments are not possible during the trip.
Amarnath Yatra package cannot be rescheduled for any other destination.
No cancelation / refund request will be acceptable if the Shivling goes melted early.
Disputes, if any shall be subject to Jurisdiction of Coimbatore only.

Things to Carry:

The Amarnath yatra shall involve trekking across high mountains, facing strong cold winds. Hence you are requested to carry the below;
Adequate woolen clothing
A small umbrella (preferably one which is tied with an elastic band around your head and supported by a strap around the chin)
Windcheater
Raincoat
Waterproof trekking shoes
Torch
Walking stick
Cap (preferably a monkey cap)
Gloves
Jacket
Woollen socks
Trousers (preferably a waterproof pair). These items are essential as the climate is highly unpredictable and changes abruptly from sunny weather to rain and snow. The temperature can sometimes abruptly fall to 5 degrees Celcius or lower.
Only Postpaid connection will be working. Please carry the postpaid mobile connections in Jammu & Kashmir sector.

a) The request for name change will be treated as a fresh booking where confirmation will be subject to availability. Please note all bookings confirmed are non-transferable and will invite a cancellation charge as applicable.

b) Changes and Cancellation by Tripozo or its partner prior to your departure - The journeys are planned well in advance. We reserve the right to make changes to the programme if necessary at any point of time. We reserve the right to cancel the departure or amend the same due to certain operational reasons and conditions. Most changes made by us would be minor, but on certain occasions there could be a possibility of making a significant change. A change is defined as significant if it involves a change of destination or date of departure. In such an eventuality, we would inform you as soon as possible and provide you with the following solutions:

1. Or accepting the cancellation where you will receive a refund of the payment remitted to us. However, there will be no refund for any service such as pre/post accommodation, airline tickets, excursions, and extensions etc. that have been booked by you and/or your Travel Agent.
c) In case of a 'force majeure' situation due to which a departure has to be cancelled, we regret there would be no refund of the money paid to us or reimbursement of any additional expenses incurred by you as a result of our cancellation/ change.

100% payment at the time of booking will be required.

On completion of the booking and payment formalities, a confirmation tour voucher will be generated.
You will have to pay all bank charges.

SURCHARGES:
The prices shown are based on known costs and airfare at the time of tour launching the tour and Tripozo or its partner does not expect to have to make any changes. In case of unforeseen increase in national or local taxation or factors beyond control, Tripozo or its partner reserves the right to impose a surcharge or revise the tour cost.

FORCE MAJEURE :

In these booking conditions, 'force majeure' means any event which Tripozo or its partner / the supplier of the service(s) in question / the Third Party Supplier could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include disruptions/diversions of air services, floods, and earthquakes whether actual or threatened war, riot, civil strife, actual or threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, disease, fire and all similar events outside the control of the party concerned.
We cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our obligations under our agreement with you is prevented or affected by, or you otherwise suffer any damage or loss as a result of, 'force majeure'.

OUR LIABILITY TO YOU :

Tripozo or its partner will not be responsible for any injury, illness, death, loss, damage, expense, cost or other claim of any description whatsoever which results from:

the act(s) and / or omission(s) of the person(s) affected or any member(s) of their party; or
the act(s) and / or omission(s) of a third party not connected with the provision of your arrangements and which were unforeseeable or unavoidable; or
any service or facility not arranged by us as part of our contract with you; or 'force majeure' as defined above.

We do not accept liability for:

Any damage, loss, expense or other sum(s) of any description which based on the information you gave us at the time of booking, we could not have foreseen you would suffer or incur if we breached our contract with you.
Any business losses.
Excursions or other tours or any other travel services taken and paid for by you which have not been provided by us whilst you are on our tour. In such instances, your contract will be with the operator / supplier of the excursion or tour or travel services and not with us.

CONDITIONS OF TRAVEL:
You will have to strictly follow the tour program. There would be no refund if you fail to join the group at the commencement of the tour, or join the group later or leave the group before culmination of the tour for any reasons whatsoever. You are responsible to register with the representative of the Company at the appointed date, place and time and you would be treated as a no-show if you fail to do so. Under no circumstances would any refund be given for any unutilized services. You shall not behave in a manner which may cause distress or annoyance to other co-travellers or which may create the risk of danger or damage to property of the Company, co-travellers or others. In this event, you may be asked to leave the tour immediately. The Company shall be under no liability to any such person.

General guidelines to the passengers:

Senior citizen passenger must get their medical check up before booking the tour.
Passengers above age of 70 are required to accompany by an escort/family member of younger age.
Hotel Check in time is 1200 hrs.
Being a group tour, personalized service is not viable. Hence, please converge with the group.

For early check ins and late check outs the payment is to be settled directly by the guest.

Kindly queue up while boarding the busses and don’t rush at the accommodation centre at the time of check-in. It is the duty of the co-passengers to provide seats first for the Handicapped and older people. Please do not request our representative for blocking any seat or specific room.
You should adhere to the time announced by the Tour Manager, failing which you will have to come to the next place on your own expenses.
Please keep patient and calm while journey and avoid any unlawful arguments. Speak politely to other tourists, staffs & officers on duty.
There may be changes in the sightseeing if any odd situation arises & the same has to be adhered to. In case of any problem arising due to some natural calamity or abnormal situation, alternate arrangements will be made for which extra cost is to be borne by the tourists.
