Tour Itinerary: - Cochin - Munnar (2N)-Kumarakom (1N) - Cochin

Day 1: Cochin - Munnar

Arrival at Kochi Airport/Ernakulam Railway Station. Transfer to Munnar. Day at leisure for shopping in Munnar Town. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 2: Munnar

After breakfast visit Eravikulam National Park and Tea Museum (1000 – 1600 hrs. Closed on Mondays) in the forenoon. Afternoon Mattupetty Dam & Echo Point. Evening cultural programs at Punarjani (tickets own expense). Overnight stay in hotel at Munnar.

Day 3: Munnar - Kumarakom

Check out from the hotel and transfer to Kumarakom. Check-In at houseboat. Lunch on board. Cruise along the backwaters. Dinner & Overnight stay in Houseboat.

[Cruise timing: -12:00 Hrs to 13.30Hrs. Then 30 minutes break for lunch, again cruising from 15.00 hrs till 17:30 Hrs. Thereafter boat will be tugged at a designated area on the bank of lake. Cruising after 17:30 Hrs till is not permitted as per the law. Next day morning cruising from 08:00 Hrs 09: 00 Hrs afterwards check-out from the houseboat and drop at Kumarakom/Alleppey Boat Jetty after the breakfast].

Day 4: Kumarakom - Cochin.

Post breakfast, check out from the houseboat. Drive to Ernakulam. En-route visit Hill Palace Museum (Closed on Monday). After lunch, visit Jewish Synagogue (Closed on Friday afternoon session & Saturdays), Dutch Palace (Closed on Fridays), St Francis Church & Chinese fishing nets. Later drop by evening to Ernakulam Railway Station/ Cochin Airport.

Transportation - by an exclusive AC vehicle for the entire tour.
1 Night stay in houseboat at Kumarakom in APAI Meal Plan (Room Rent+ Breakfast+ Lunch+ Dinner)
2 Night stay in hotel at Munnar in CPAI Meal Plan (Room Rent+ Breakfast).
Accommodation - non-AC rooms in Munnar.
Toll, parking and all applicable taxes for above services.
All sightseeing and excursion as per the itinerary

Safety First: While Boat Cruising/ Stay at Houseboat, either arranged in the package by IRCTC/self(own) anywhere as specified in the itinerary, please do not venture out into the Lake/River/Canal without informing the crew available on the Boat/Houseboat. Please abstain from doing anything that rocks the boat. Please do not lean over the side which might distort the boat. Step-in & Step-out, only after the Boat/Houseboat is stopped, anchored & tugged properly. Take care of the children as the lake/river/canal is deeper than your imagination. Please do not swim in the lake/river/canal.

IRCTC indemnifies itself from any responsibilities of any unfortunate event of death/ hospitalization of the tourists while Stay at Houseboat/Boat Cruising.

Standard Check In time 01.00 PM& Check out time 11.00 AM at Hotels and Houseboat check In time 12 Noon and Check out time 08.00 AM.
For extra adult and Child with bed booking Roll away bed /Mattress will be provided at Hotels. Additional wooden cot will not be provided.
Early check in / late check-out is subject to the discretion of the hotel.
Running Hot water facility is not available on the houseboat.
AC will be functioning in Houseboat in from night 21:00 HRS to next day 06:00 HRS.
Tour Vehicle will be allotted based on number of adults booked for the tour.
Rooms allotting in hotels/houseboat will be of base category.
IRCTC will not be responsible for any type of natural or social calamities.
Opening of Wild Life Sanctuaries/ National Parks are subject to the discretion of the Forest Dept.
