Circuit: Kochi– Munnar (2) – Kumarakom/Alleppey (1)- Kochi (1): (5D/ 4N):

Day 1: Kochi- Munnar

Pick up from Ernakulam Railway Station/ Kochi Airport and transfer to Munnar by road. Enroute visit Cheeyapara waterfalls. Check-in to hotel at Munnar. Later visit Punarjani Cultural Centre (Tickets your own). Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 2: Munnar

After breakfast visit Eravikulam National Park and Tea Museum (closed on Mondays). Afternoon drive through the tea plantations and visit Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point. Kundla Lake. Evening visit to Munnar Town for shopping. Overnight stay in the hotel Munnar.

Day 3: Munnar - Kumarakom/Alleppey

Morning check out from hotel. Drive to Kumarakom/Alleppey. Later, Check-in to hotel, day free to enjoy the backwaters. Overnight stay in Kumarakom/Alleppey.

Day 4: Kumarakom/Alleppey-Kochi

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel. Drive to Ernakulam. En-route visit Hill Palace Museum (Closed on Monday). After lunch, visit Jewish Synagogue (Closed on Fridays & Saturdays), Dutch Palace (Closed on Fridays), St Francis Church & Chinese fishing nets. Later Overnight stay at Kochi.

Day: 05: Kochi

After breakfast check out from hotel visit Marine drive (boating optional), Lulu Mall and transfer to Ernakulam Jn. railway station/Kochi Airport.

N.B.: 1. Covering all sightseeing at day 1 is possible only if Guest/Tourist(s) arrive (s) Ernakulam/Cochin/Trivandrum as per the itinerary

Safety First: While Boat Cruising/ Stay at Houseboat, either arranged in the package by IRCTC/self(own) anywhere as specified in the itinerary, please do not venture out into the Lake/River/Canal without informing the crew available on the Boat/Houseboat. Please abstain from doing anything that rocks the boat. Please do not lean over the side which might distort the boat. Step-in & Step-out, only after the Boat/Houseboat is stopped, anchored & tugged properly. Take care of the children as the lake/river/canal is deeper than your imagination. Please do not swim in the lake/river/canal.

IRCTC indemnifies itself from any responsibilities of any unfortunate event of death/ hospitalization of the tourists while Stay/Boat Cruising.

Standard Check In time 01.00 PM & Check out time 1100 AM at Hotels and Standard check In time 12 Noon and Check out time 09.00 AM at Houseboat.
For extra adult and Child with bed booking Roll away bed /Mattress will be provided at Hotels. Additional wooden cot will not be provided.
Early check in / late check-out is subject to the discretion of the hotel.
Running Hot water facility is not available on the houseboat.
AC will be functioning in Houseboat in from night 21:00 HRS to next day 06:00 HRS.
Tour Vehicle will be allotted based on number of adults booked for the tour.
Rooms allotting in hotels/houseboat will be of base category.
IRCTC will not be responsible for any type of natural or social calamities.
Opening of Wild Life Sanctuaries/ National Parks are subject to the discretion of the Forest Dept.
If, the stay of guest/tourist(s) is arranged in Hotel KTDC Aranya Nivas, the entry to Periyar Tiger Reserve may strictly be adhered by them as hotel is situated in the Periyar Tiger Reserve. The entry, to Tiger Reserve, is permitted till 1700 Hrs only. Being a Tiger Reserve, no movement is advisable after 1700 Hrs to 06:00 Hrs.
