Ooty, officially known as Udhagamandalam (also known as Ootacamund abbreviated as Udhagai), isa city and a municipality in the Nilgiris district of the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located 86 km (53 mi) north west of Coimbatore and 128 km (80 mi) south of Mysore and is the headquarters of the Nilgiris district. It is a popular hill station located in the Nilgiri Hills. It is popularly called the "Queen of Hill Stations". It was the summer capital of the Madras Presidency. Originally occupied by the Toda people, the area came under the rule of the East India Company atthe end of the 18th century. The economy is based on tourism and agriculture, along with the manufacture of medicines and photographic film. The town is connected by the Nilgiri ghat roads and Nilgiri Mountain Railway. Its natural environment attracts tourists and it is a popular summerdestination.In 2011, the town had a population of 88,430.

DAY 01 (Thursday)
Departure from Tuticorin Railway Station by Train no: 16766, TN MTP Exp at 22.50 hrs.
DAY 02 (Friday)
Arrival at Mettupalayam railway station at 07.40 hrs, proceed to Ooty by road (51Kms/02Hrs). Check In freshen up and Transfer to Doddabetta Peak and Tea Museum. Evening visit Lake and Botanical gardens. Overnight stay at Ooty.
DAY 03 (Saturday)
Morning visit the Film shooting places, Pykara falls and lake, etc., Proceed to Mudumalai wildlife sanctuary** At Mudumalai, Visit Elephant camp, Jungle ride. Later transfer back to hotel, Overnight halt at Ooty.
DAY 04 (Sunday)
Morning Check out hotel at Ooty, Later transfer to Coonoor by road. At Coonoor, visit Sims Park, Lambs Rock, and Dolphin's Nose Board the Passenger Train No.56137 at 14.00 Hrs and transfer to Mettupalayam Railway station at 17.30 Hrs. Enjoy the journey on the World Heritage Mountain Railway. Departure to Madurai by Train No. 16765, MTP TN Express by 19:35 hours.
DAY 05 (Monday)
Arrival Madurai Jn. at 01:25 hours. Train reaches Tuticorin at 04.20 hours.

Tripozo or its partner is not liable for missing of one or more services as per the itinerary due to late running of trains. Tourists should strictly adhere to the timings failing which Tripozo or its partner will not be liable for missing of any service including darshan and return train. If the tourists miss the bus arranged by Tripozo or its partner at any place, they should reach the next place of the itinerary on their own.

Terms and Conditions:
Online tickets will be generated and issued 4 days prior to the departure. Berth preferences/changes shall not be entertained as the tickets generation is through centralized PRS.Tourists are requested to travel as per the berths allotment.
Check-in and Check Out time in hotels is 12 noon. Although we take due care that check-in is provided early and late checkout is permitted, under unavoidable circumstances, check in/checkout may have to be maintained as per Hotel Policy.
Tripozo or its partner reserves the right to cancel the Tour Programme at any point of time arising out of various exigencies beyond its control. In such an event, maximum liability of Tripozo or its partner shall be limited to the Package Amount paid by the guest.
The package price is as on date of booking. However, in case of increase in input costs such as railway fare or any other expenses beyond the control of Tripozo or its partner, the guests are liable to pay the additional amount before commencement of journey.
Tripozo or its partner reserves the right to change the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances, including but not limited to, bad weather, train delays/cancellations etc. Under such circumstances, Tripozo or its partner shall make best alternative arrangements guest are liable to pay any additional costs for making such arrangements. Tripozo or its partner shall not be responsible for any loss of sight-seeing, visits to planned sites in the itinerary.
Tripozo or its partner doesn't guarantee Darshan at the shrines/places of interest/monuments mentioned in the itinerary.
Seat allocation in trains is done in a random manner and Tripozo or its partner shall not entertain requests for any preferential seat allocation.
It is mandatory to carry the identity proof provided by the client at the time of booking .The other passengers travelling need to carry a valid photo id card during the package tour. The valid Photo ID Card are Aadhaar, Voter id card, Passport, Driving License, PAN Card, Credit Cards with Photo, Cards issued by Central/State Government and Student ID cards with photo issued by School/College for their students.
Please carry Post-paid mobile phones as pre-paid mobile do not function in Jammu & Kashmir. While in hotel, please follow house rules. If you wish to use the swimming pool, please carry your own swimming costumes. Tour is subject to operation in case minimum booking of 2 passengers on twin/single fare is received.
While we take due care in keeping the information on these pages updated, train timings, hotel rules, opening & closing hours at monuments/museums/parks/gardens/shrines and sites mentioned in the itinerary etc. may change and may not be updated on the pages. Tripozo or its partner does not take any responsibility for such changes. There will be no refund for un-utilized services.
You will have to strictly follow the tour program. There would be no refund if you fail to join the group at the commencement of the tour, or join the group later or leave the group before culmination of the tour for any reasons whatsoever. Under no circumstances would any refund be given for any unutilized services. You shall not behave in a manner which may cause distress or annoyance to other co-travelers or which may create the risk of danger or damage to property of the Company, co-travelers or others. In this event, you may be asked to leave the tour immediately. The Company shall be under no liability to any such person.

1. The visit to the sightseeing places is subject to weather & road conditions.
2. Opening of National Parks or Wild Life Sanctuaries are subject to the discretion of the Forest Dept.
3. Tripozo or its partner will not be responsible for any Natural or Social calamities.
4. The itinerary of the package is indicative only and handling agency reserves the right to change itinerary during operation of the tour due to local circumstances.

8. Final confirmation in the proposed hotels is subject to the availability at the time of booking, else similar category hotel will be provided.
9. Category of the vehicle will be decided as per the group size.
10. Most of the hotels provide twin bedroom, double bedroom is subject to availability. Wherever extra bed has been stated it means only rollaway bed.
11. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to the availability. Mostly hotels observe 11:00 to 12:00 check-in time and check-out time is normally 09:00 to 10:00 hrs.
12. Herat & blood pressure patients, pregnant women, persons suffering from physical problems, senior citizens etc need to be cautious while traveling and should be accompanied by someone. 13. All sightseeing places are subject to time availability and schedule running of trains.
