Kanyakumari is the southern most important point of peninsular India and the meeting point of three oceans-the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. Besides its importance as a Hindu pilgrim center, it is famous for its beautiful views of sunrise and sunset over the waters. It was once referred to as the Alexandria of the east. During the early part of the eighth century AD Islam entered the southern part of India through the sea route with traders and missionaries. Through St. Thomas, one of the twelve Apostles of Christ, Christianity arrived in this area in AD 52.

Trivandrum is also a tourist destination for both domestic and international tourists. Being the capital of Kerala, often known as "God's own country", Trivandrum is also called as "God's own capital". There are many tourist destinations in or near the city including Kovalam beach, Sanghumukham Beach, Napier museum and Zoo, Sree Padmanabha Swamy temple, etc. Trivandrum is also famous for being the Evergreen city of India.

Day 01: Thursday

Departure from Chennai Egmore by Train No. 20635 Ananthapuri Special Exp. at 19.50 hrs.

Day 02: Friday

Arrival Nagercoil Railway Station by 07:25 hrs, pick up & Check-in Hotel at Kanyakumari; assemble at 11:00 hrs in Hotel lobby and proceed to visit Kumari Amman Temple, Three Sea Mingle Point, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar Statue, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Mandapam.

(Please note driver will drop all tourists near to Kumari Amman Temple and from there tourists shall visit all places on their own, all the places are walkable from that point). Return to hotel on your own as per your convenience. Meet at hotel lobby at 16:30 hrs. Visit sun set point and wax museum. Drop at hotel / market for shopping. Overnight stay at Kanyakumari.

Day 03: Saturday

View early morning Sunrise in the Seashore on your own. Morning check-out at 08:30 hrs and proceed to Trivandrum by Road and enroute visit Suchi-indrum Temple. Reach Trivandrum and check-in hotel. Evening Kovalam beach Tour. Overnight stay at Trivandrum.

Day 04: Sunday

Early Morning at 06:00 hrs, proceeds for Darshan Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple (Open 04:15 - 12:00 Hrs), Post Breakfast visit Kanakakunnu Palace & visit Napier Museum (Open 10:00 - 16:45 Hrs., Monday Closed). Check-out and proceed to Nagarcoil, enroute visit Padmanabha Palace. Drop at Nagarcoil Railway Station at 16:00 hrs to board Train No 20636 Anantapuri Express at 17:18 hrs.

Day 05: Monday

Arrive Chennai Egmore by Train No. 20636 Anantapuri Special Exp. at 06:05 hrs.

Frequency/Tour Dates:

Online tickets will be generated and issued 4 days prior to the departure. Berth preferences/changes shall not be entertained as the tickets generation is through centralized PRS. Tourists are requested to travel as per the berths allotment".

The visit to the sightseeing places is subject to weather & road conditions.
Opening of National Parks or Wild Life Sanctuaries are subject to the discretion of the Forest Dept.
IRCTC will not be responsible for any Natural or Social calamities.
The itinerary of the package is indicative only and handling agency reserves the right to change itinerary during operation of the tour due to local circumstances.

Final confirmation in the proposed hotels is subject to the availability at the time of booking, else similar category hotel will be provided.
Category of the vehicle will be decided as per the group size.
Most of the hotels provide twin bedroom, double bedroom is subject to availability. Wherever extra bed has been stated it means only rollaway bed.
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to the availability. Mostly hotels observe 13:00to 15:00 check-in time and check-out time is normally 12:00 to 13:00 hrs.
Heart & blood pressure patients, pregnant women, persons suffering from physical problems, senior citizens etc need to be cautious while traveling and should be accompanied by someone.
All sightseeing places are subject to time availability and schedule running of trains.

Tripozo or its partner is not liable for missing of one or more services as per the itinerary due to late running of trains. Tourists should strictly adhere to the timings failing which Tripozo or its partner will not be liable for missing of any service including darshan and return train. If the tourists miss the bus arranged by Tripozo or its partner at any place, they should reach the next place of the itinerary on their own.

Tourists should take care of their personal belongings and luggage. Tripozo or its partner is not liable for losses or thefts.

In case of cancellation of Darshan in situations beyond the control of Tripozo or its partner including peak rush during festivals refund will be made only for the services missed. No refund will be made in case of skipping of any service including darshan voluntarily by the tourist. No refund will be made in case of missing of any service including darshan due to the negligence of tourists.

Check-in and Check Out time in hotels is 12 noon. Although we take due care that check-in is provided early and late check out is permitted, under unavoidable circumstances, check in/check out may have to be maintained as per Hotel Policy.
Tripozo or its partner reserves the right to cancel the Tour Programme at any point of time arising out of various exigencies beyond its control. In such an event, maximum liability of Tripozo or its partner shall be limited to the Package Amount paid by the guest.
The package price is as on date of booking. However, in case of increase in input costs such as railway fare or any other expenses beyond the control of Tripozo or its partner, the guests are liable to pay the additional amount before commencement of journey.
Tripozo or its partner reserves the right to change the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances, including but not limited to, bad weather, train delays/cancellations etc. Under such circumstances, Tripozo or its partner shall make best alternative arrangements guest are liable to pay any additional costs for making such arrangements. Tripozo or its partner shall not be responsible for any loss of sight-seeing, visits to planned sites in the itinerary.
Tripozo or its partner doesn't guarantee Darshan at the shrines/places of interest/monuments mentioned in the itinerary.
Seat allocation in trains is done in a random manner and Tripozo or its partner shall not entertain requests for any preferential seat allocation.
It is mandatory to carry the identity proof provided by the client at the time of booking
.The other passangers travelling need to carry a valid photo id card during the package tour. The valid Photo ID Card are Aadhaar, Voter id card, Passport, Driving Licence, PAN Card, Credit Cards with Photo, Cards issued by Central/State Goverment and Student ID cards with photo issued by School/College for their students.
Please carry Post-paid mobile phones as pre-paid mobile do not function in Jammu &Kashmir.
While in hotel, please follow house rules. If you wish to use the swimming pool, please carry your own swimming costumes.
Tour is subject to operation in case minimum booking of 2 passengers on twin/single fare is received.
While we take due care in keeping the information on these pages updated, train timings, hotel rules, opening & closing hours at monuments/museums/parks/gardens/shrines and sites mentioned in the itinerary etc. may change and may not be updated on the pages. Tripozo or its partner does not take any responsibility for such changes. There will be no refund for un- utilized services.
You will have to strictly follow the tour program. There would be no refund if you fail to join the group at the commencement of the tour, or join the group later or leave the group before culmination of the tour for any reasons whatsoever. Under no circumstances would any refund be given for any unutilized services. You shall not behave in a manner which may cause distress or annoyance to other co-travellers or which may create the risk of danger or damage to property of the Company, co- travellers or others. In this event, you may be asked to leave the tour immediately. The Company shall be under no liability to any such person.
