The Rann of Kachchh is a vast white salt desert, considered the largest of its kind in the world. It spans about 30,000 square kilometres across Gujarat in India and Sindh in Pakistan, including the Great Rann, Little Rann, and Banni grasslands. Near the village of Khavda lies Kalo Dungar (Black Hill), the highest point in Kutch, offering breathtaking views of the salt flats. Dholavira, one of the most significant sites of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization, is over 4,500 years old and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2021. With this recognition, Gujarat now proudly holds four World Heritage Sites, showcasing its rich cultural heritage.
